Our LAN Group: Uber's House of Doom

We meet just about every weekend at my house (pictured on the left). It all started, basically, in 2001 when Phil started having LAN parties in his garage. But way before that, Hanwool, some other guys, and I would LAN in his garage. Oh, and we attended RadCon and DeCon, where we brought our machines to game. Anyway, then I had a couple in my dad's workshop (e.g., March 2001; it had more room and broadband access via a 200' CAT5 cable I bought). Things went on like this till July 2002 when I moved out of my parent's house and into this place. Now, we meet here for BBQs, card/board games, and, of course, LAN parties.

Who's in our group? Well, pretty much everyone on this page.

Here're some aliases that you can match to the names: Nick is Zeo or Madifans, Beefy is usually B33fy or just Beefy, Phil is Intrepid, JD is Ender or [PaPeR]Rolling, Kevin is [PaPeR]Sand, Shea is Muhammad, Justin is Hecatomb or EaterofInfants, Hanwool is Bullet_Enema, Drew is Aku, Aaron is Roland, and I'm Uber|HJO3.

We have a background that we use to... like, show solidarity or something. It's this greyish template that you put your handle on top of with an image editor. It's in PSP format (Paint Shop Pro):

Ummm... here're some pics of us LANing:

And that's pretty much it. As far as games, we're pretty into CS, WarCraft III, Quake III: TA, BF 1942, MOHAA, and AvP2, but our tastes change month-to-month. Anyway. Got any ideas for this page? Want more information about our group? Maybe come to one of these shindigs? E-mail me. The link is at the top of the page.
